Following the success of our 2014 live radio drama Lovecraft’s Unnamable Tales, Flat Earth will unleash the Great Old Ones on Boston with two new H.P. Lovecraft–themed readings: Arkham Books and Lovecraft's Tales Outside Time and Space.
The newest work from celebrated local playwright and company co-founder Kevin Mullins (Citizens of the Empire, A Southern Victory), Arkham Books tells the story of Leonard Walker, a bookstore manager unknowingly working above a cultist lair where monsters are about to be released on the city. Fending off inhuman creatures and plots of blood sacrifice, Leo must learn to accept that occult happenings are real before he loses the love of his life.
Flat Earth's A. Lehrmitt (Lovecraft's Unnamable Tales) has forged the newly adapted radio play Lovecraft's Tales Outside Time & Space, presenting variations of four of Lovecraft's stories that encounter alternate dimensions full of terrors literally out of this world. From meeting extraterrestrial dimension-hoppers to losing oneself outside time and space, one can travel too far into the unknown, and the journey back may prove the ultimate, and most horrible, test.
